This LED illuminator replaces the original Olympus BX41 illuminator. Provides a whiter, brighter light than the original, while consuming 90% less energy and generating 90% less heat. Intensity control is continuous from 0-100%. Problems with heat damaged bulb sockets, connector and power supply failure are all eliminated. Never change bulbs again. Don’t waste money on a new microscope because of a bad illuminator. Your “old” microscope probably has better optics and mechanics than a new one. Olympus BX41 LED Retrofit Power Supply
Olympus BX40 Microscopes are failing daily because of bad power supplies. These are wonderful microscopes with crisp images and reliable mechanical systems. But once the power supply dies, the scope is worthless, they are no longer available through Olympus. We have the capabilities to replace the original bad power supply with a 6v 30w high quality dimmable power supply utilizing the original dimmer. This replacement power supply fits inside the original case, dims as usual and uses the original fuses, plug, lamp, socket, dimmer and lamp house. The preset switch and green intensity leds are no longer used on this power supply replacement. All units are tested for 24 hours and guaranteed for one year from date of replacement. Send us the stand minus the head, stage, condensor and objectives. We will return the unit within a week. USPS shipping is added, or your UPS shipper number. No returns accepted on this item.
